straw.page / think of this as a linktree or carrd, decorated by me, featuring all of my social media linked conventiently, and mobile-friendly.

tumblr / i've been using tumblr since i was 13-years-old and though i've had a number of accounts, i've consistently kept a blog someway somehow all of this time and it's a space online i feel conmfortable and relatively safe using. i've made long-time friends and even met the love of my life, all on tumblr. i've always been able to express myself, document my life and feelings, and meet new people. i really, really miss livejournal, btw......

sheezy.art / one of the only places online i feel comfortable sharing and posting my art for the world to see. i don't post art on instagram, x, facebook, or deviantart and haven't for years. sheezy is a great place with a big community, varying art styles and skill levels, highly customizable profiles, and their subscription plan is wildly affordable and brings extra features with it. i really reccomend it and am grateful it exists.

bluesky / one of the only common social media platforms i still use. i don't use x and am looking to leave instagram as soon as i can--bluesky is far from perfect but it's at least something i feel sort of ok using as a commonplace for sharing art, news, my own thoughts, and some pictures and videos from time to time.

substack / substack is awesome and i love using it to keep up with news, journalism, activism, politics in general--all are deeply important to me and i want to actually share my own writing there, i think that would be a good outlet for me. many incredible people are on substack and it's worth checking out if you want something ad-free, user-powered, and full of varying, forward-thinking individuals writing meaningful pieces and keeping up with the world, locally and internationally.

letterboxd / i don't heavily use letterboxd but i love film and i love to keep track of what i've watched, what i want to watch, and reading reviews and synopses of movies and it can be fun to use. my reviews are one-liners or jokes and i like to write a purposeful review only after i've watched a film beginning to end. feel free to follow me there if you like movies too and wanna check out what i'm watching and what i thought of what i saw.

discogs / i'm very new to discogs but i've been enjoying cataloging my physical music collection, so far i don't have much of it added yet but with time i'll have it completed. feel free to follow me there if you're interested in discogs and use it yourself.

last.fm / i've had my last.fm account since my 15th birthday, so that's 14 years of scrobbled listening activity from me, and it definitely shows. i used to scrobble plays from my ipod too, and once i get a modified ipod, i'll be doing that again. i just switched from spotify to deezer so i use deezer to stream, and i use strawberry music player on my computer with my own local files and scrobble from strawberry as well. i've always thought scrobbling is fun and i've always enjoyed keeping track of my listening habits over time. i think it's fun, and you're welcome to follow me there if you use last.fm yourself.

bandcamp / i've used bandcamp off and on for many years, for following specific artists i love, and also for sharing my own music. i've never been consistent with that, but i'd like to share music i make with the world as i'm very interested in making more of my own music. i have before but a lot of it is relatively limited in style and sound compared to what i'd really like to create. in time there will be music there and i wouldn't mind selling it there, that would be very cool. check it out sometime and you never know, there might be something from me to listen to and discover.
